Create a Facebook Fundraiser

Launching a fundraiser on Facebook for In Harmony Therapeutic Services is a breeze!

Setting up a Facebook fundraiser is incredibly easy and Facebook has waived all fees, ensuring that 100% of donations made to a fundraiser are passed through to In Harmony.

Step 1: Access your Facebook account. Click on the “Fundraisers” section. This shows up on your Facebook homepage on the lefthand side column.

Step 2: Click “Raise Money.”

Step 3: Under the heading “Who are you raising money for?” select “Nonprofit” and enter “In Harmony Therapeutic Services” in the search bar.

Step 4: Select your monetary fundraising goal and the date your fundraiser should end. For a fundraising goal, we generally recommend $100-$200. Consider your followers and how much the average donation might be. If most folks you know would pitch in $5, $100 might be a good number. If you think that some of your followers will donate $25, go for $200. The most important thing is to aim for a goal you know you can meet; you can always raise your goal during the campaign if you meet it!

Step 5: Tell your story: If you have a personal reason for supporting In Harmony, this is the place to write it! If not, Facebook gives you a lovely template to work with.

Step 6: Pick a cover photo: There will be a suggested photo for you to use from In Harmony’s Facebook page. You can upload a photo of your choosing.

Step 7: Click “Create” and BAM! You have created a fundraiser! Remember to share it among your Facebook network.
