Dear Supporters,
As I look back on this past year, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the spirit of community care that defines our work at In Harmony Therapeutic Services. Together, we have built spaces where compassion thrives, where every voice matters, and where healing is nurtured through shared connection.
Fiscal year 2023-2024 has been a remarkable testament to what we can achieve when we care for one another. At the heart of our progress are the partnerships we have cultivated—relationships rooted in our shared commitment to trauma-informed care, equity, accessibility, and anti-oppressive practices. With Colors+ Youth Center, we created affirming music therapy programming for LGBTQ+ youth, fostering a safe space for self-expression and mutual support. These sessions underscored the importance of community in helping individuals feel seen and valued. Our partnership with the Cuyahoga County Public Library brought literacy-centered, music enrichment into local neighborhoods, making programming accessible to families and demonstrating how public spaces can become hubs for connection. Working with RIVEON Mental Health and Recovery, we offered music therapy to adults on their mental health journeys, empowering participants with tools for self-care and mutual encouragement. At Urban Community School, our classroom programs strengthened bonds among students and educators, highlighting how collective care builds stronger, more supportive learning environments. Collaborating with LeafBridge School of United Cerebral Palsy, we tailored our services to meet the unique needs of students, showing how thoughtful, inclusive approaches deepen care for all. Through our work with The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, we connected children to the arts, providing opportunities for creative exploration that inspire both individual and shared growth.
These partnerships remind us that healing happens best in community. When we come together—offering our time, resources, and compassion—we create spaces where care flourishes and barriers fall away. This year, we served hundreds of individuals and families, each experience enriched by the collective care you help us provide. As we look ahead, we are excited to deepen our focus on community care. Plans for the upcoming year include expanding our community-centered music therapy groups, building new partnerships, and finding even more ways to collaborate with organizations that share our mission.
Your support makes this work possible. Every contribution—whether a donation, volunteer effort, or thoughtful word—reflects the care we strive to model in our programs. You are an integral part of the In Harmony community, and I am profoundly grateful for your partnership.
Let us continue to care for one another, strengthening our communities through the healing power of music therapy.
With heartfelt appreciation,
