When In Harmony Therapeutic Services was founded in 2018, a scholarship fund was created in memory of Calvin and Angeline Bousner to provide music therapy and adapted music lessons to children and adolescents who cannot afford services. The first two scholarships were awarded in 2019 to an individual and an agency within our community. In 2020, the annual spring application cycle was cancelled in response to COVID-19 and uncertainty around providing services during a global health pandemic.
It was our intention to resume accepting applications for the Bousner Memorial Scholarship this spring for services in 2021-2022. However, the board and staff of In Harmony have chosen to postpone opening the application cycle. Our sincere hope is to begin this process in the coming months. We remain fully committed to the mission of the Bousner Memorial Scholarship Fund and look forward to supporting our community in the near future.
